Patient Choice Delivery is the trading arm of Patient Choice. It operates a free and independant prescription home delivery service for ostomy and urology appliances. You can expect exactly the same services as every other home delivery service, including:
Free home delivery
Repeat prescription collection service
Appliance cutting and customisation
Emergency supplies at home or abroad
Essential wipes and disposal bags
But in addition you can be assured we are:
Impartial – Patient Choice is completely independent of any manufacturer, and has no commercial interest in recommending any particular product over another
Not for profit – profits go straight to charities supporting patients just like you
Patient led – founded by an experienced patient to support the causes he had seen needed help
Patient Choice Foundation is a grant making charity, supporting charities and projects that directly benefit patients. The profits from Patient Choice Delivery are donated straight to the Foundation so the Trustees can assign it in the form of grants, funding projects such as:
OstomyAid is an international aid project, saving surplus ostomy appliances from going to landfill in the UK and sending them to patients in Africa, Eastern Europe and Asia that otherwise would not have access to them. Patient Choice provides free shipping for OstomyAid, helping patients and nurses send supplies to Osotomy Lifestyle for sorting and dispatch.

We accept applications from registered charities and organisations that can demonstrate their social impact, in line with our mission.

Patient Choice is the brain child of Neil Basil, founder of national charity Ostomy Lifestyle. "after spending five years running excellent projects for the charity, but ultimately struggling for financial resources, I realised that instead of begging for cash from large healthcare companies it would be better to start a healthcare company myself"
Neil has been a patient with ulcerative colitis and an ileostomy, so knows what someone needs from their supplier and the importance of consistent and excellent service.
